In a quaint Croatian village by the sea,
Where time waltzes slowly, ancient and free,
Lies Barba Mateo, a fisherman bold,
His heart intertwined with stories untold.

With weathered hands and eyes of deep blue,
He's tethered to the ocean, faithful and true.
Among decayed boats and nets worn thin,
His spirit dances where the currents begin.

In whispers of dawn, when the sky's first blush,
He casts his hopes on the waves, a fervent hush.
With each gentle ripple, a tale unfurls,
Of longing and passion, of sea's endless swirls.

For Barba Mateo, it's not just a chore,
But a dance with the sea, a lifelong lore.
His desire stretches far beyond the shore,
Chasing horizons where dreams explore.
