Acrylic portrait painting of Barack Obama on canvas. The flowery background is unique to my style of adding to my celebrity portrait series. I have always painted expressive flowers and to have an interesting contrast against the close to realistic portraiture paintwork.

I take great pleasure in developing my portraiture work and have produced a series of large-scale, dramatic celebrity portraits, including this one of Barack Obama. This painting, like the other portraits, is quite unique in stylistic terms and represent a fusion of realism with design and pattern based elements and as you can see it is based on the United States flag. It is painted in acrylics, metallic colours and enamel with the addition of a final protective layer using acrylic matt medium. Flowers and geometric shapes are a constant theme my painting and I skilfully incorporates natural forms in many of her pieces.

The painting will be packaged safely and securely with recorded delivery. The sides are painted black so you can hang it on your wall as soon as it arrives in your home. You also have the option to frame it yourself if you like.
