Artwork description:

The Mississippi flows 2,340 miles south from Lake Itasca to the Delta. This magnificent river is also a place of hard work. From its banks, barges are loaded with bulk commodities. For transit the barges are strapped together into groups of typically fifteen carriers, pushed by a tow boat.

These two pictures were made by a combination of relief printing from rubber plates and stencilling. Each picture measures 5.3/4 x 9 inches. All materials used are of high quality. Please use the contact button to put a question or make a remark.
