Original artwork description:

Inspired by my many travels in the rural southern mountains of the eastern United States, the sound of the banjo, the craft of making the instrument and the beauty of the instrument itself, I went to work and created this unusual artwork. You can see my intrigue with repetitive patterns, shapes and geometric forms. In my unique style I once again experimented playfully with color, this time shades of lavender, green, yellow and red. This painting has more of a muted pastel theme with the bolder colors bouncing off. It s unframed with neatly painted edges. The artwork has all the needed hardware attached and is ready to hang on the wall.
