Banbury Church and Castle
I visited Banbury Castle over the summer and found a location to paint the coast and the view included the Church with the castle in the background. I was fascinated by the location because it allowed me to enjoy the prominent position that the castle had on the clifftop overlooking the North Sea, and it also allowed me to observe the quiet well-kept graveyard of the church. Whilst I was painting for a couple of hours I noticed people come and go in the churchyard, some cyclist tourists were stopping for lunch and another person was wearing the graveyard, other people were enjoying a quiet time in reflection.
