When I first saw how a banana bloom, I was absolutely delighted. Impressively, I created a series of paintings in which I represented different parts of this plant. They all have their own dynamics and plasticity of lines.
I still think the banana is one of the most amazing plants.
I used handmade cotton paper from Khadi Papers India in this small series of artworks/ Its made from 100% long fibred cotton rag. It has pronounced texture of antique fabric for this picture.
