This inspiring landscape of Bamford Edge overlooks the beautiful Lady Bower Reservoir, famous for its iconic use in the practice runs of the Dambuster bouncing bombs, trialed during World War 2. Anne-Marie took a photograph in spring 2017 and was inspired to paint it due to its' beautiful heather plants which grow abundantly around this area and the dramatic skies that can be seen across the Peak District.
