Original artwork description:

This painting was done “en plein air” at the same time as the larger Bamboo Island with Longtail Boat from a path on Laem Tong Beach. This smaller work is more expressive and allowed me to see how the thin layers of tone and colour worked when built up. You can see the dark areas of coral in the shallow water and the darker deeper ocean leading to small deserted beaches on Bamboo Island. I like the way the black background and thin layers of paint create the feeling of evening or moonlight although it was painted during the day.
A note to International Buyers:
Shipping rates have increased in price all around the world due to Covid and other complications. Due to this I have had to increase the the cost of shipping my artworks in line with the Delivery Companies. I will always strive to find the cheapest possible option for the customer (usually my local POST OFFICE EMS Recorded Delivery, but unfortunately they don’t deliver worldwide at the moment) If the amount of shipping charged at purchase is less than the shipping company charges then I will refund the difference to the customer. This refund will be done after the picture has arrived safely and has been accepted.
Any import duties, taxes and charges that may be payable are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges, if applicable, will be the responsibility of the buyer. Please message me to check if this might affect your purchase.
