This is a view of Bamboo Island painted “en plein air” from under a tree on a path on Laem Tong Beach. It is the last of my “loose” more expressionistic series of smaller paintings done on Phi Phi Island. These smaller pictures were started as an aid to allow me to test colours and paint quality before applying them onto my bigger “main” pictures. This was done at the same time as the larger Bamboo Island painting. I really like the way the smaller paintings on black paper take on their own atmosphere and almost feel like they were done at night, just after sunset or just before sunrise. I like this unexpected outcome.
A note to International Buyers:
Shipping rates have increased in price all around the world due to Covid and other complications. Due to this I have had to increase the the cost of shipping my artworks in line with the Delivery Companies. I will always strive to find the cheapest possible option for the customer (usually my local POST OFFICE EMS Recorded Delivery, but unfortunately they don’t deliver worldwide at the moment) If the amount of shipping charged at purchase is less than the shipping company charges then I will refund the difference to the customer. This refund will be done after the picture has arrived safely and has been accepted.
Any import duties, taxes and charges that may be payable are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges, if applicable, will be the responsibility of the buyer. Please message me to check if this might affect your purchase.
