I travelled widely across Ireland over the last number of years sketching and photographing places that I found of interest. This drawing is of a cliff at Baltimore in south west county Kerry, Ireland. I took a series of photographs and created some sketches that I used as a basis for this drawing. The decision to keep the sea 'undrawn' was taken early on in the process to give the place a certain 'out of place' feeling with the rocks in the background floating in mid-air. The elements in the drawing, especially the rocks at the foreground are abstracted.
The drawing is a long portrait format at 36 x 18 cm.
The drawing comes framed in a bleached wooden frame with glass. Worldwide shipping is free.
