Painting greatly inspired by the beauty of my home country- Estonia, and more particularly by two of the biggest islands - Saaremaa and Muhu. Saaremaa- translates as "land of islands" ,you can get to ones from the main land by ferry which only takes 25 minutes to cross the water. The nature and landscapes , towns and villages of Saaremaa are unique and stunning and very peculiar also with great influence of Swedes. I've visited Saaremaa just recently and my trip made me want to get to my paints and brushes asap.

Painting is mixed media- the main image is made with watercolor and details drawn using ink pen and the softness of the sedge and clouds - with dry pastels and pencils.
