Large flowers of balsa tree produce a lot of nectar. At daytime they are pollinated by capuchin monkeys. At night, when most pollination occurs, nocturnal arboreal mammals, the kinkajou and the olingo, are considered to be the primary pollinators, though earlier bats were thought to be the ones.

This watercolour painting is hand-painted. It will look fantastic in any room. The painting is not framed.
Materials used: professional watercolour paints, professional 100 % cotton extra white watercolour paper, 300 gsm.
