Original artwork description:

I was inspired by a scene very much like this, at the local Saturday open air market. My version is much more expressive and dripping of color!
Here I used a raw paper, which takes the paint quite differently from a pressed paper. More blotter effect, and the result is rich.
The close up pictures are to give a better sense of the paint, paper and the brush stroke. Then there’s the work in progress.
