Available as a Museum Quality Limited Edition Print, Edition of 90
A common scene in the early modern art, a portrait of a resting ballerina can be traced to Impressionism and even earlier. I based this piece on a series of life drawings of a member of a Royal Ballet I made. Still, this is not a romantic depiction of a ballerina, but an image of a strong woman, a powerful professional, a dancer. She is the embodiment of energy and grace.
