Original artwork description:
I have made it a study to paint ballet feet in and out of shoes. The feet are such a integral part of ballet but in many paintings they are captured as the most beautiful part of the dancer, and they are, but they are also incredibly hard working instruments.
The painting is framed professionally in a 75mm Bronze Floral Embossed (high Pattern) wooden frame. It is quite a traditional, high quality frame which really pulls out the tones and warmth of the fox. It is framed without glass - which allows the oil paints to breathe and stay healthy.
