Original artwork description:

A watercolour painting of a group of Ballerinas waiting in the wings to go on stage. I was brought up dancing and am so inspired by the beautiful shapes made by ballet dancers. This is a gestural painting with liberal brush work, the detail is kept minimal - the viewer knows what they are seeing without getting tied into tiny details, instead the overall feel and atmosphere is what gives the impact of the painting.

This is painted in watercolour on 300 gsm 100% cotton Langford prestige paper, the paper is heavy and isn't ruched or buckled. All my paintings are shipped well protected in heavy card and waterproofing.
