This is a delicate and yet powerful painting of a female ballet dancer resting, deep in thought, with her hand to her mouth and her knee up. The acrylic painting has been layered on top of a free flowing indian ink sketch. This is the first time I have used these two mediums together and I love how they interact with one another.
