One of my painting as my pseudo : Romain Héjé, when i walk through the garden to the old barn where i paint on sundays when everyone left.
I choose to paint : TheTragic characters series as a break through my abstract paintings the need to face up to reality the state of things. Is the artist not the one which is suppose to represent her or his Time?
It is the painted reproduction of a newspaper photography. The subject is a football player during a world cup . He seems to be flying above the ground keeping the ball in control. The dynamic of the movement gives a sense of emergency as if the ball falls he too will fall. A tragic character.
