A small scenic study of the Balgy waterfalls near Torridon and Sheildaig on the west coast highlands of Scotland with the river Balgy flowing out of Loch Damph surrounded by remote scenery with the views of the hills in the distance and swirling rain and mist.
In this small painting I have tried to portray the atmosphere and mood of a wet autumn day spent fishing among these falls surrounded by the wild heather and bracken moors.
Painted with a palette knife and fingers in muted autumnal colors with a touch of purple near the falls and atmospheric cloudy grey sky.

Painted using quality artists acrylics on a small square format 8" x 8" (20 x 20cm) canvas, with a varnish finish and white wooden frame with cord ready to hang.

Comes with certificate of authenticity
