Original artwork description:

The idea of including Holmes in my composition came late. I wanted to created a kind of well worn masculine space, with elegant details. Hence, the horse walking stick, the antique mirror, drop leaf desk, and lamp. You can see I put my signature on a piece of paper sticking out from the desk.

I believe Holmes' space would have been far more cluttered, and the tie not so modern. He is one of my favorite characters; and though he was meticulous about detail I hope he will not be too exacting with me.

This picture is made from the finest archival glues and papers. It is matted with an 8-ply mat and ready for framing. The outside dimensions with the mat are 18.25" x 16.25".

Materials used:

Paper, wood veneer paper, glue, museum board
