This was a scene from Baja, in lower Ca. I painted it after returning from a trip there. I remembered the sand dunes and an inland body of water with some greenery that sheltered birds. It was a restful placid place for us. It was not far from the ocean where we were staying. There, for a change of pace we saw occasional passing whales -and dolphins!
