Original artwork description:

I am exploring more about abstract forms. This series is called "Backyard birds", including woodpecker, house sparrow, humming bird, cardinal, blue jay and gold finch. The goal is to let your brain recognize the "bird". I try to give all elements and color combination of each bird species. So the brain can process and label the picture based on the knowledge stored in there.

I painted all edges of the canvas and installed hardware so it is ready to hang. The painting is protected by a piece of semi transparent glassine paper. I tape it with blue painters' tape. That is what you see in the photo.

Although I have tried my best to match the color of digital profile and the actual product, the color might still vary depending on different monitor settings. Please be aware of this fact.
