Original artwork description:

I found an small, old cast iron coal stove from the late 1800's that someone in my neighborhood threw out. It now sits near my wood pile and I'll burn small sticks in it while splitting wood for my wood stoves. I had it fired up one evening and liked the dual glow that came from the stove and my neighbors porch light which also looked like the setting sun.

Materials used:

gouache
