Original artwork description:
This is a collagraph of a nude looking in a mirror. I have tried to replicate the drawing style of charcoal on paper, with carborundum in pva. The very nature of a print is to be tight and stylised, but by 'drawing' in this medium I have tried to achieve a freedom of line, more typical of the immediacy of a life drawing.
Materials used:
Oil based inks on 220gm cartridge paper.
