A quite graphic painting of a classic view of the Maggiore from Piazetta San Marco in Venice. This painting was (and maybe still is) published as a greetings card and print by The Art Group (now called Pyramid) and painted at a time when I was influenced by the work of Gerald Mynott.
Materials used:
oil on mdf board, gessoed on both sides.
