Bacchi is our model today. She evokes lithe flexibility in amazingly graceful and difficult-to-hold twists in quick poses. Fast poses suit me. I love to work spontaneously, quickly capturing impressions of body shapes and movement, using an array of colours. As I work, my imagination takes over. I stop thinking and respond emotionally to music, colours, and sunshine outside. Shapes build to form the composition. An abstract figure in a garden emerges! I’m pleased with the spontaneity of the lively, dancing colours, the impression of warmth and lightness. The canvas surface is permeated with the energy of slight, delicate Bacchi.

This painting on canvas is sold un-framed. There is an 8 cm border on all sides to wrap around a timber stretcher frame. Your local framer can do this for you. Further framing is not needed.
