Aviation. Rolls Royce engine housing, and coding of BAC 1-11 Aircraft XX105 that belonged to the Royal Aircraft Establishment Blind Landing Experimental Unit. This particular aircraft first flew as civilian registered G-ASJD, making a forced landing upon Salisbury Plain in 1964, but after repair serving with British United Airways, and was later a flying test bed for systems such as touch screen controls. The painting was executed on site at Boscombe Down where the aircraft was due to be scrapped soon afterwards in late 2011.
