These are some growing apples I saw outside my studio window in July. I enjoyed watching the apples get bigger and redder during the summer, but at this point they were babies. I rarely work with this color range of green and yellow, and I added some turquoise accents to enliven the painting and emphasis the young leaves' shininess.
