Painted on-site at the Bailey Shrub Walk at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum.

Features a group of Azalea bushes in full bloom with yellow, golden orange, deep orange, pink, and hot pink flowers.
The background shows spring green foliage and lilac blossoms ranging from deep purple to pink in color.
To the right, the composition is framed by a Smokebush tree with leaves of rich burgundy red, bronze, and copper. Lots of iridescent oil paint and thick texture is incorporated into this foliage.
The background is painted with casein paint. Its matte texture contrasts with the thicker, shinier oil paint of the foliage. The casein paint is water-based, and is applied with a wet, running, flowing style, providing additional textural contrast.

This painting encompasses an entire spectrum of spring colors and textures, and will add a soothing, peaceful, uplifting mood to any room.

Framed in a wood frame with a black finish that is 3" wide on all sides. May also be purchased unframed. Please inquire for price adjustment for unframed option.
