Original artwork description:

It was the burst of sunlight on the grasses that first drew my eye in. I set my easel up along the fast moving stream, managing to fit in the two trees and blooming azalea bushes at the North Carolina Arboretum Azalea Festival. Surrounded by many interested visitors and fellow artists, I spent a blissful three or four hours painting away. What better way to spend a glorious spring day?
