'Away From The Sun' is an original triptych painting created using a mix of sculpting techniques with layered paint and inks to create texture and depth. This abstract painting features a striking colour palette including metallic paints on a graduated background, including blue, purple and green.

The painting is inspired by textiles and incorporates a range of techniques including a drip effect representing the idea of loose and unravelling threads. The painting also gives an impression of a cityscape.

Each of the 3 parts of the painting is on a professional quality, deep edge box canvas. Each canvas measures 40 x 40 x 3.5cm and is painted on all sides, has no visible staples and is ready to hang.

The painting is signed on the front and back and a Certificate of Authenticity is provided.
