Original artwork description:

Red digital numbers glow through the velvety darkness, indicating time: it's 1:22 in the morning--far too early to wake up, but I can't prevent myself from becoming aware of my surroundings, and as I do, my mind lights up with silent conversations, one of which is the voice of reason. It tells me to ignore the others, and to push my face back into my pillow, and to let slumber do its job. I do this, but the reverberation is deafening and most distracting. This could be a long night.
