Words and thoughts of being here this past autumn. I look forward to going back there again next year as it’s a very inspiring area for water, light and nature.
Original expressive watercolour on extra rough textured watercolour paper bockingford 425 gsm 200lb.
I wanted to create the light on the water and so I used a reflective light technique in a three colour mixture. I used a Chinese hake and worked expressively throughout to achieve a delicate, atmospheric and ethereal watercolour.
