This artwork is especially meaningful to me, as it fuses the iconic Ava Gardner with the majestic Orion Nebula, paying tribute to her elegance and magnetic presence.

What makes this piece even more unique is that, just like my portrait of Rita Hayworth, it is a collaborative effort with my dear uncle, José Alberto Zabaleta. He created the textured background, while I focused on capturing Ava’s essence in the portrait, blending our two visions into one artwork.

Every brushstroke and detail holds a piece of our shared history.
A work between generations, a work among stars.
