I don't often paint long haired dachshunds but I suddenly got inspired when I was looking at autumn wardrobe ideas on Pinterest, I just love the combination of this beautiful sauasage's warm chestnut locks and her woolly blazer over a knitted waistcoat, the perfect cosy ensemble for autumn!

This handome hound has been painted on a W11.6 x H16.8 inch wooden cradled panel with acrylic paints, the edges are painted black. I've given her a satin varnish and  she is ready to hang.

She would make a great gift for any dachshund lover or she might be a lovely addition to your own art collection?
