Original oil painting on canvas. Framed in a white tray frame and ready to hang.

Hoping to have captured a sense of drama and atmosphere in this painting of Brentor Church on Dartmoor. Lots of contrast in light and shadow and greater use of the palette knife has allowed me to build upon the texture of the moorland and rocks in the foreground.

Living in Plymouth, Devon I enjoy regular visits to Dartmoor and in doing so find excitement in creating my impression of the unique atmosphere that Dartmoor offers.
