Original artwork description:
Painted on-site in my neighborhood in Minneapolis. Features an autumn maple tree with leaves in a unique color combination of deep burgundy reds and "salmon" oranges and pinks. The background landscape is softly indicated with shades of blue, violet, yellow, and green, the running and dripping effects being created with casein paint. The tree is painted in oil, with the foliage on the branches and on the ground below the tree created with palette knife for "leaf-like" textural effects. Iridescent and florescent oil paint are incorporated into the foliage colors.
Framed in a 2" wide wood frame with an antique gold finish. To purchase unframed, please contact me for price adjustment.
