Artwork description:

Hand made, reduction linocut prints (8 layers), edition of 13, materials used: water based, light fast inks (Schmincke) on Strathmore linoprint paper.

The process of creating the prints is long and you get a limited edition prints from one lino. I start my projects with a drawing and then transfer the drawing onto a piece of lino. Then I hand carve each layer of the lino, ink the lino using a hand roller and print a specific part of the picture (by hand) in one colour. I then repeat the actions – carving, inking and printing next layers. Once the prints are finished the lino is no longer usable as it is all carved/ destroyed.
The prints have minor variations (which makes them all unique in a given edition). This is also a thing that a lot of people like in this kind of artworks.
For smaller edition prints I will try to put all the photos here, so you can choose a specific print (by letting me know through the messaging system here).

Paper size: 20.3x25,4 cm (white)
Print image size: 15,5x20,5 cm

I use high quality, water based, light fast inks (Schmincke) and high quality, acid free paper of different thickness (all specified) .

Please note the colours may vary slightly according to the colour settings of your computer/ tablet or phone.

Delivered with protective acid free tissue paper in a strong postal tube or envelope, tracked.

I offer free postage, but the local duty/ tax (if any) is the buyer`s responsibility (and it is usually payable after receiving a parcel).
