Original artwork description:

I have often left the Mall Galleries on Pall Mall, London after visiting an exhibition or after dropping off a painting there and made my way to Victoria Station by foot for the trip home to Brighton. I always seem to walk into St James's Park at the same place and if it is Autumn or Winter around the same time, sunset, so I have often seen this scene with the sunlight streaming through the trees. In the end I realised that it would make a good painting...and here it is.

oil on mdf board, gessoed on both sides.
