In this small Scottish mountain landscape study I have tried to convey the atmosphere of a wet autumn day in the hills of Scottish highlands with cloud covered mountains and a burn and waterfall in spate, flowing down the bracken covered hillside. Painted in a semi abstract impressionist style in red and golden yellow colours with a grey blue sky on a lightly textured canvas mounted on board.

Painted with a palette knife and fingers, using quality artists acrylics on a square format 8" x 8" (20 x 20cm) lightly textured canvas on board, framed in a handpainted white wood frame, with cord ready to hang.
