As the first frost kisses the grasses, the chill wind takes the rest of the leaves and the birds fly south, there is a stillness. Original 8x10" oil on panel painting set in a gold painted plein air frame. My local art supply store gets a stash of plein air frames from North Carolina every so often, and the are impressive, finely made and heavy wood. This is a simple painting, but elevated to a window on nature and made more formal by the frame. Signed on back, COA, hardware attached ready to hang, gift wrapped. Thank you for visiting!
