A moody atmospheric Scottish mountain landscape painting inspired by the moorland waterfalls surrounding the rugged Cuillins on the Hebridean Isle of Skye on the west coast of the highlands of Scotland.
In this painting I have tried to portray the, atmosphere of the changeable weather with low lying clouds interspersed with shafts of bright sunshine.

Painted with a palette knife and fingers, using quality artists acrylics on a square format 15" x 15" (38 x 38cm) lightly textured canvas on board, framed in a white limewash frame, with cord ready to hang.
