Impressionist abstract painting.

Winter skies and sharp bright light and colour is very appealing in January where I live in rural Kent. This large painting is inspired by that feeling in the air and those colours.

I have used palette knives, rags , and a variety of brush types to create a rich textured surface on the canvas. using top quality acrylic paints I can have many washes of colour and lots of intense marks too.

This unframed 110x110cm canvas has white painted edges, it is strung with picture cord and ready to hang.
