My new painting "Autumn Reverie"
Oil on canvas 40x60 cm. Soon to be varnished.
I was planning to paint the atmosphere of the warm autumn time, on the verge of summer turning into slightly cooler times, but not too cold yet :-) However, the autumnal landscape, the golden shining of the foliage, when the sun rays hit the trees and a couple of doves are merely a reflection of the girl's daydreaming, reminiscing of the things dear to her heart. I really hope this symbolic painting will create a positive feeling of nostalgia, not the blues, but the warm yellows :-)
