Painted on-site on Minnnehaha Parkway in Minneapolis, MN. Features a grouping of four autumn colored maple trees lit with evening sun. Deep shadows and patches of sunlight stream across the grass. The foliage sparkles with bright orange, rust orange, and lemon yellow. Painted with oil over casein paint on board with both palette knife and brush. Watery and running effects in the sky were created with casein paint, which has a matte texture that contrasts with the glossier oil paint in the foliage. The foliage is enhances with thickly textured oil paint applied with palette knife. Framed in a 3" wide wood frame with a gold finish. May be purchased unframed by request.
