Painted on-site at Minnehaha Park in Minneapolis, MN. Features a grouping of four autumn colored maple trees backlit with afternoon sun. The scene is accented by shadows and glimmers of sunlight streaked across the grass, and a soft blue sky. The foliage dazzles with color, including lemon yellow, golden yellow, orange, salmon, pink, peach, and burgundy red, and incorporates florescent paint. Painted on stretched canvas with oil over casein paint. . Paint has been applied with both palette knife and brush, and includes impasto textured tree trunks and leaves.
Painting continues onto the sides of the stretched canvas, for a "gallery-wrapped" finish that is ready to hang.
