Autumn Morning is a small 8 x 8” acrylic painting on canvas. It is one of a series of artworks based on many visits over six months to a farm in the fens in east England.
Christopher Witchall’s landscape paintings capture the light and open spaces of the Cambridgeshire fens where he has lived, explored, painted and photographed for 30 years.
His unsentimental approach to his subjects combine traditional painting techniques with the realism and cool detachment of photography.

Materials used:

Acrylic paint on deep edge canvas. No need for framing.
