I recently drew a piece of a vibrant yellow-orange pumpkin. At the same time, I did not select the background; I did not embellish it in any way. Just neutral, grey. And immediately after completing the work, I felt that I had to place this pumpkin in a turquoise environment.
In my opinion, the combination of yellow and turquoise colours is a hot summer. Perhaps these colours also remind you of summer? Yellow is the sun, sea sand, and turquoise the sky and the sea.
I thought, let pumpkin number two be not golden autumn, but a summer afternoon at sea.
