Painted in a few stages, the first of which involved creating a watercolour wash, all the while ensuring the middle section was pale, so the light could be suggested. The following stages involved making marks for the tree trunks and adding foliage using splatters, and repeated a few times till I was happy with the overall composition and intensity of colour..
