The word iconic was invented for the likes of Mussenden Temple. It really is world famous and deservedly so. This beautiful 18th century library looks out over the cliffs over the North Atlantic towards the coast of Donegal. It can be seen for miles around. The train line runs through the foot of the cliff. Downhill Strand lies at the foot of the cliffs. The outline of the train tunnel can be seen in this painting.
